Operations Logistic Manager

We are looking for the Operations Logistic Manager for CZ/SK who will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across all local Meest transshipment warehouses in Czech Republic & Slovakia. This includes managing warehouse teams and schedules, optimizing space usage, ensuring safety compliance, handling line-haul transport operations, and managing courier recruitment, route planning, and performance control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of all local transshipment warehouses across the country, with a strong focus on courier logistics workflows.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, shift schedules, space utilization, and warehouse safety protocols.
  • Ensure efficient and timely handling of line-haul transportation and seamless integration with last‑mile courier operations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage couriers across all local branches, ensuring high service standards.
  • Plan and optimize courier delivery routes for both B2B customer pickups and Meest Box Network point deliveries.
  • Monitor courier performance, delivery quality, and operational KPIs, proactively addressing service gaps.
  • Track, analyze, and report on all operational costs of the national branch, including courier-related expenses.
  • Drive cost‑efficiency improvements by developing and optimizing local operational infrastructure and courier processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics operations with broader business goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or transportation operations, with proven and substantial experience in courier logistics (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost control, logistics planning, route optimization, and last‑mile delivery processes.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations in warehouse and courier environments.
  • Hands-on experience with TMS/WMS systems and courier dispatch or routing tools.
  • Fluency in the local language and working proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Employment Conditions

  • Work based on national branch location, with regional travel as required.
